hi, i'm kinda new to the thread, but i have a few problems i would really appreciate help out with if somebody could. it's a little bit crazy, and may not be the right forum for this, but this is what happened.. i'm having a problem with sound coming out of my speakers and playing the sounds in my mpc, i have read sparq's tuturial how to use this, however, it seems i have to open up pro tools to here any sound coming out. in fact i have to open up pro tools every time i start up my computer just to get any sound coming out! i called the tech support ar pro tools and they said my eligibility for support is over with. it seems the only way to get sound off a record or mic is to open up pro tools. also the sound is only coming out of one speaker :( mad problems here. i can't even mix right. i've checked my speaker settings and they're on m box, and i've also tried the hardware settings but i don't know where i'm going wrong. i know this letter is kinda long, but these are some serious issues i'm facing and i can't use my mpc like i'd like too. thanks for reading all this if you did, and i appreciate any feedback on this one man, cuz this one is a b. peace

i have a feeling its all about the ASIO Drivers, you might have your computers drivers set to the mbox only, try switching the windows sound driver back to your original sound card, (control panel/sounds and audio devices, then its under the Audio tab), also check your settings in pro tools, you may have it set as mono track, or a stereo left track. when recording you only want to be able to hear the sound when the track monitor setting is enabled.

anyways thats some infos i got, hope it helps, search up drivers, learn about the different kinds of sound drivers(ASIO, Full Duplex, etc) ASIO are only ment to work within D.A.Ws and specified programs.

GOod luck
