Id like to be able to assign samples to pads faster. Like from the trim page or something. I have so many samples and turning that wheel...

JJ, can you do something for the users that came from the 2000XL to your OS.? I have over 100s of songs that was made with the XL.. most of them work with the 2500 akia OS only a few of the doesnt work like they should as far as the programs goes... but NONE of them work with the JJ OS. I got the JJ OS i love it, but im not even using it do to that fact. I dont care what anybody say, i think JJ OS is one of the best thing that happin to the 2500 (if not to the MPC line.) So JJ keep doing wat you do best.

Rozzer, it's already there, I was doing it the other day although I can't remember how, I think it was via seq edit. I check for you when I get home this evening.

Just checked and it's there on page 27 of the akai manual so yes you can transpose midi tracks and always have been able to.
Unless you mean something different such as being able to transpose from the grid edit screen??????

I think he means realtime midi transpose ideally from a value on the main screen - the current transpose is an offline process.

independent realtime swing and shift parameters per track on the main page! And how bout the q-links not initializing the ajustments you made when in realtime/track mode when you stop and restart the sequence... that one just kills it everytime...

Faster scrolling through samples on the program screen and in trim mode.
I will buy JJ today if I can get that!

It's not faster scrolling but when you press the Window button on the sample name in the trim screen (can't remember if it happens on the program screen too but it happens most place where you can select a sample) you get a list of samples which pop, it's certainly easier to navigate and when you have a lot of samples it can speed finding them up a fair bit.
You should by JJ OS anyway
