if there are no record stores in venice or rome you can kill me now... Venice. ROME? they must have records, i refuse to believe otherwise...

will anyone tell you where they are, now that's a different issue altogether...but they must exist. Absolutely.

Why do you think I posted this?

I don't live in Venice or Rome, but I am Italian and I know there are record stores in Italy. I've went to the less popular parts of Italy and found record stores.

Wether the records in Italy are shit or not, all depends on what sounds you are looking for.

To find cheap vinyl in Italy you have to go to Flea Markets.
Try Porta Portese in Rome...

When i was in Venice the place seemed like a ghost town.. nothin but tourists, and it wasnt how its made out to be, I def didnt see any record stores where i was tho.. just tourist shops, some REAL nice food shops.. and a mac donalds lol.

They have Taxi boats, that look almost like the new york taxi's.. just that they boats instead, but they all yellow and sh!t

The place wasnt 1 bit romantic tho.. and I thought it was ment to be one of the most romantic places ever,

but good luck tho maybe u'll find the most amazin record spot hidden away some where..

Hit up Bologna if u get the chance.. its quite a way away from Venice but got all kinds of dope places.

Just dont get lost on ur own like I did for 5 hours with no money or phone.. because the police hate English / Americans and as soon as they hear u speak english u'll get a hand in the face and they'll continue walkin.. and if u persist u'll get threatened with a beat down, althought flirtatious women will kindly help although u'd have to approach them with dodgy spanish or some sh!t and just pretend u understand more then "left and right" lol

Peace

Police is shit everywhere...i do not think only in Italy...anyway, Venice is really really beautiful, but it is not the best place for shopping...only turist stuff and stupid souvenirs...but you definetely have to see it once...it is an unique place...
Approach women with dodgy spanish???aahaaha i did not knew this....i have to try it here in Milan, after i got out from work...i do not think it will work LoL
