Did you treat the surface with anything prior to painting it? like sanding it down or something? what kind of paint did you use?

yup i sanded it down completely (60 grit coarse then 320 fine) and took and a can of air spray to get the dust off, then wiped it down with a damp cloth..

sprayed it down with duplicolor automotive laquer primer..(3 coats) then hit it with duplicolor paint..

for the plastic i lightly sanded with 320 fine, wiped it down hit it with a light coat of primer and painted it with krylon fusion.. for the arm rest i just wiped it down and painted it with vinly paint..

after all the paint dried, i hit it with duplicolor clear top coat.

duplicolor is automotive paint.
