What happened to Note repeat ??

for some reason my note repeat is not woking??? i only had this box for a week. i did check the TC button and even if i change the value its not working .. help !!!!!!!!!!!!1

yeah only in record or play, which i find kinda weird myself. even the cheesy dr-660 i had like 10 years ago could do it with the sequencer stopped

1 thing you have to understand about these MPC's: EVERYTHING gets filtered through the "sequencer" part of the mpc first, THEN into the sampler. This is true for note repeat, midi in (you only get the currently selected track, not all midi channels, right?), pad hits (follows your note layout, right?)....

once you get that figured out, it's easy to figure out how & why things work in the 1k.

now I've heard many times to keep note repeat on, push the main button and note repeat at the same time, but I can't get this to work. Is this only the 2XL or whas tha dilly?

yeah ive read thats only on the 2k or xl. but not on the 1k i know that
