I need to sync Logic (6 on a mac) with my MPC2000xl. The MPC has to be the master for my instance. Surely the easiest way to do this is to use midi clock...right?? So by sending midi clock out of midi port A to my mac, my mac is set to receive and sure enough it starts fine, synced to the bpm of the MPC. However if you watch the bpm counter inside Logic it is fluctuating (albeit very fast) from around 90 bpm to 160!! The MPC is set to play at 133. All this change in bpm speeds causes the audio in Logic to be played back too early or too late. Can Logic be set to stick at 133? Why is the MPC turning over at such inconsistent bpm's and making itself impossible to sync to?
