anybody get similar issue?

say i made a sequence , copy it to sequence 2 so i can add something to it. record a new track on sequence 2 , then flip back and forth between sequence 1 and 2 just to see how the arrangement works, all of a sudden the new track i recorded into sequence 2 starts playin in sequence 1 instead of 2. this happened on random accasions throughout the time i been messin wiht the 500 over the last 2 months or so. anybody else get this?!

same with me, but doesnt happen to me the same way tho.

the "new" trk i make on seq.2
will play at the beginnin of seq.1(no, its not the rest of the loop finishing in the new sequence, its the loop starting anew) when i switch to it, just after pplaying seq.2(going into seq. 1)

Yes. If you record on sequence one, switch to sequence two, record on sequence two and then go back to track one without hitting stop inbetween, this will happen (and it will not just play it. The events will actually be copied into sequence one). I have emailed Akai with a step by step reproduction of this bug, and they have confirmed it, so it will hopefully be fixed...

The events will be copied even if you go out of overdub mode before you switch (or possibly, only then...), so just hit stop after overdubing, before changing sequence, and you'll be fine. A bit of a drag live though...

without noticing it maybe this is why i havent had it happen to me anymore, been changin the workflow, stoppin in between sequence recording.
