I found it! Page 71 of the manual. Go to Program / window / Delete / All Pg / Do it.

* if you want to deete samples, you do it from Trim / window / delete.

you can ofcourse deleat al the samples individually, but if you just switch purge after deleting programs, dan the mpc delete al the samples for you.

ok, so i did this. but when i turned off my mpc and turned it back on later, all the same stuff was there. i also tried to format the internal memory on the load screen and it said "system error"

^^ you can't delete or format it, but you can >turn off autoload< or overwrite internal memory by first cleaning all stuff from RAM and having just 1 sample in memory (preferably very short). Than you can overwrite.

didnt quite grasp the overwriting. i did however turn off the autoload so thats a relief. now is there a way i can make my own settings and save them. ie #bars & bpm so i can start off proper everytime i turn it on?
