Dark Wing you sound like you are overwhelming yourself with equipment. You need to pick one of those machines and use the **** out of it. By you jumping from machine to machine it's gonna make the learning curve of each one a little more difficult and your beats are going to suffer. If you haven't made beats for very long then you need to get the basics down first stick to one machine. If you went from a XL to a SP1200 or 3000 it's gonna be more difficult for you to grasp the concept of the older machines cause everything has to be done the long way. I went from a XL which I started out on and then I bought a 3000 and I ended up selling the 3000 cause I needed money but it also slowed me down because I was so used to using my XL and banging out a track in like 15mins. which the 3000 was taking me like a hour. But I can say that 3000 & 60's sound so nice it's not evn funny. 3000 & 60 I thought kind of sucked too cause I hate zips, floppies, and no folders but I am spoiled on the XL.

I got a good deal on a 3000 and thought I at least could sell it for more than i payed if i didn't like it... But I do lol

That's cool if you got a good deal cause that machines sequencer and sampler is the shit along with the 60.

Pre Vailixi 3.50 == NO.

COPY ZONE -> SND in Vailixi 3.50 @ www.mansell-labs.com.

Point 5 from the product page:

EDIT SND Screen now features a COPY ZONE -> SND function.

This allows samples defined within an edit ZONE to be transformed directly into a new sound within memory from a single button push. Define a ZONE start and end, COPY ZONE -> SND and a new SOUND will appear in memory. The new SOUND created via this process will be auto named as "ZONE" with an incremental number appended for easy location within memory.

Rohan.

And I was just getting good with 3.1. Ah well, if you make it for the 60 I'll def grab it if only for that copy zone to snd.
