memory check error!!!... shit... what is that!?

since today, everytime when i
start my mpc 1k this crazy
screen appears. is my little
mpc dead?
what should i do now?

so you don't have any extra memory installed ? if you do then just take it out and put it back in, the chip might not be seated properly in the socket.

if the memory test is failing on the internal 16meg, then you are probably looking at sending it back for repair cause the internal memory is bunk. if its a recent purchase maybe you can try to bring it back to the store.

Damn that's f@cked up! I heard there were some probz wit the 1k but I havent experienced any. freestyle terror take it back and get another MPC playa dont let that lil prob bring u down about the 1k it is HOT mos def!
