When I go to chop and then enter/slice how I want them to be, alot of the time when I go to assign the chops to pads, they don't translate to how I chopped them in the trim. Does anyone know what's going on, Have this problem or have any help?
Thank You

Yeah, Basiclly, My machine is saving the "Sliced Samples" (Chops) that it see's fit instead of the ones I go in and do manually with the chop/slice funtion. The MPC can chop by itself but never the way people's brains are intending for the most part, or in My case rather, most definitely.

Which version are you using?

Also if it's really not working submit a bug report if you haven't already. If it's broken that's definately one which needs to be fixed.

It's working fine for me but I haven't upgraded from 5.06 yet.

I'm running 5.04.....Would I have to pay again to get 5.09? Were there many problems with 5.04? Any with 5.09?
Thanks All

Well, I just installed the 5.09 and the same is still happening.
Can someone wallk me through the chop perhaps?
I sample, I go to chop in the TRIM, go to slice enter the amount of regions I want, press the down arrow to get to trimming the regions, press edit, then F2 to make them sliced samples.....
Then, I go to assign them to pads and I don't hear the chops I manually made.

Also, What's The Auto Funtion in CHOP?
Recovert Time: 50??
Threshold: 50??

Could this be My issue?

Thanks Again

Well, I thought I'd really again to My own thread for future help to someone else in the future.....After trying out a bunch of things, I found that when I TRIM the whole sample (intact) in the start to where I want it and then afterwards go into CHOP/SLICE, where I can adjust things maually as I like the pieces (regions) to be, the SLICED SAMPLES are coming out proper.

Thanks To All Again

The problem comes when you dont discard the sample before you chop it, i have allready sent buginfo to the japanese guy hoping he will fix it to 5.10.

If you dont discard the sample the first chop will be something like vinyl noise or something, after discarding the sample it can do the job ok.
