Question: Note swapping in sequences?

I have a few sequences where I would like to note swap kick drums in the pattern. How is this accomplished? For instance -KICK clean-, -KICK layered- are located on Pad 1, Pad 2 respectively. I make a copy of (SEQUENCE 1) *Seq Drums* in (SEQUENCE 2) called *Seq Drums 2* I want to replace all of my -KICK clean- in track 1 with -KICK layered- is there an edit function which allows me to do this?

I wish the heavyweights would weigh in. Anybody ever want to do this?

Here is a round-about way of doing that. Go to the Program list and hit 'window' and copy the program you are using...so you will now have 2 identical programs. Assign the new program to a different part and set that part to sequence 2. Then go into Program Assign mode and make pad 1 and 2 the same. Thats the quickest way, but uses up memory. Another reason to max out the RAM. If there is a more dirrect way to do it without changing every note in the seq, then someone enlighten us.
