SCSI conversion to USB or firewire?

I'm prob gonna pick up a 2000xl soon. my computer is an intel macbook pro...it's got firewire and usb, obviously no scsi port. is there an adapter or something out there to get a scsi drive to connect to usb or firewire? also, is there a RAM upgrade for the 2000xl?

What kind of scsi drive do you want to connect? If it is a zip drive then you're better to get an extra usb zip drive.

The maximum memory you can put in an mpc 2k xl is 32 mega bytes.

You can get those at any thrift store,I see them all teh time.There only a couple of dollarz.Easy enough solution,you could also consider teh 2kxl
with teh flash card reader(teh blue one) when you make your mpc purchase.I use flash cards now wit teh 2kxl instead of zip,and they hold more memory.

oh im def getting the blue one. if i was just gonna do the flash card then i'd need a flash card drive for my computer to transfer files, right?

You can find a scan disk usb drive for your computer at teh trift store as well,
I picked one up fo like $3 just have to search around little.

Also, I would say go with compact flash card instead of the others like
memory stick or smart media....
I've read around these forums that people have ahd trouble with the others.
I've not personally had any issues but just what i've read.
