Ok I just recorded a sample into my mpc but I was wondering is there any way to cut it into like 7 smaller samples and spread it over the pads like on the 1000
Sure, by the sweat of your brow!!!1 So what I'm saying here is that you need to go into trim mode and manually extract every new sample you want to create. Takes a little longer but really it's your only option as far as chopping goes inside the mpc 500.
