I was waitin for some one to mention Bernard Purdie, more peeps should know this cat, its a shame so many dont (alot that I come across anyway).. he one of the most influencial drummers when it comes to this sh!t (Jazz / Funk etc)...

Ginger Baker and Art Blakey can play. I also think that Mitch Mitchell (buddy miles later replaced him and I think it lost something) never got the respect he deserved. On a side note, I have been sampling rock and metal for a while now to get big sounding drums and I am happy with my finds.

i'd like a comprehensive library of every time john bonham hit a drum and my mainest jaki liebezeit is the baddest robot of all times...

my friend had a drum kit i was going to go over and sample, it sounded so good... before I got around to it he moved, and the drums never sounded the same... bummer.

i just came across some old art blakey and blue note cassette tapes...they're no vinyl but they are definitly of premium quality(says it right on the case!)

is it on paranoia or the black and purple album i have two sab but i can remeber whats on it i havent messed with those in a while .....which reminds me i need to throw itin some plastic.

Yeah man, its Black Sabbath on the self titled along with the Wizard. Deep Purple is pretty solid also; to be honest I havent really been listening enough to find the hot samples. I should probably have a listen tonight.

I am a house head also and I agree, it is pretty shitty now. I used to play hard house and hardcore at "raves" till about 2000. I have been vibing to the new stuff coming out on Intenso and Stereo though.
