10000 posts in a very short period of time. pretty damn cool, seeing as how the os has existed for less than a year and the forum itself has existed for about half of that. excellent deal.

there are tons of great folks here, great beta testers, people who work to improve this operating system by providing bug reports and other input. it's very exciting for the end user to have such an active role in the development of the os - it's REALLY been a benefit to my tunes and entire working process.

keep up the good work. this is a community effort here.

this community is one of the reasons I went with an MPC. Besides the history of the MPC I like to see a strong community support...

that is why I also got an Infinity G20 as my vehicle of choice to drive... same community concept...

I could not find it with the Roland... not as active and slow for responses... the Mackie forum is the same way.

ya ive got a ton of good info from here...

im so glad this place isnt like futureproducers... that site makes me laugh every time im bored and check it out. i guess the price of an mpc gives the forum a different demographic. :P

Yes !

I'm really proud to be part of this active forum. Friends of mine were laughing at me when I was telling about new os bugs. But when they heard about the frequents updates, they changed their mind.

I praise you all for being so active and for all this community wiseness...

I originally came to this forum for the same reason as most of us.
I wanted to know if they were any video's using the jj os and it turned out to be a full blown war of words on this forum now i have people photoshoping my picture and becoming a new member with my face on it
should i be impressed ? There are other forums for that, I think they need better moderation on this forum so we can stick to the topic at hand and that's concerning the MPC..

Tree hugger!

I kinda wish the 2500 JJ forum hadn't split off. Most of the juicy conversations happen in this forum :) (I mean proper mpc conversations, not the other kind)

this site has helped me big time. ive gotten more ideas and have had more questions answered just by strolling through the board.

similar to what Nym said, this board makes it possible for US to be part of the mpc. you have an OS idea, and the grounds for it to be heard and implemented. in a backwards way, we get to be the programmers for this machine... living vicariously through our distant friends better known as JJ.

no joke. this is something that hardware/software manufacturers should sit up and TAKE NOTE. for the consumer to have a direct hand in guiding the os w/ bug reports and workflow suggestions is something really really new for mpcs, something AMAZINGLY good for the 1000. it's a 2nd wind. the community effort here really makes us all closer to the mpc. i for one am extremely proud and ecstatic to have been a small part of this thing's development. as far as software development strategies goes, JJ has really stumbled across a great--and simple--business tactic: he actually LISTENS TO HIS CUSTOMERS.
