For god's sake, can we PLEASE get some copy+paste (AKA merge) going on here...PLEASE?! Audio or sample, both ideally.

This looks good, I've been hanging on from upgrading from 5.06 until something which looked like it was worth upgrading for came along...this looks like it.

Stereo view of audio in the audio track grid edit looks nice, I wander if we could get that option in the trim screen too (preferrable in a way where you can select to view Right, Left or Both), that'd be real nice :D

the cool thing is that your upgrade is good forever. You dont need to buy a new password for future upgrades. Thats a **** deal.

I was sold on the stereo to mono convert.

Yes I know that but I can't be bothered upgrading unless I see a reason to do so, I've got version 5.06 and it works perfectly for me, as 5.07, 5.08 & 5.09 came out there was nothing new which actually interested me and bugs were introduced with things which I find important, and, even some features I use alot had been temporarily removed (such as the Whole range option on mode+pad11 which I believe has now been added back in). Therefore I ain't upgrading until I know all the features I currently use are still there and stable and the new features are something I'd use....5.10 seems to be exactly that so I look forward to upgrading when it's released.

and not this  .just about all of the features or functions, that the JJ'S OS has provided for the mpc2500 is simply 8).i was hooked, from the very frist time i start using it and i believe that they will continue to do us right until (within reason) we are all satisfied with what has, is, can, and will be done for the MPC 2500 :)

Why are you concerned with your fellow MPC users that use the Akai OS? You sound like you are getting a cut of JJs profits.

No, not at all, its just that i appreciate what they have done so far the
2500. one year ago when i first purchase my machine i was highly
disappionted with it, even with all of AKAI'S updates. Then i started to
hear about the alternate OS and i give it a try. From that moment on it just got better and i am please with it.
The difference is like night and day. it made me feel good about owning the 2500 finally.just giving props were props are due, that's all
and if the case was different then i would be saying that they are full it.

I WISH I WAS GETTING A CUT.

PEACE. :D
