mpc pc

now i tried this on my own...and this is my first piece of hardware...so please be understanding and helpful....but when i follow the manual on how to connect my mpc 1000 to my pc...the removable disk does not show up in my task bar...but the windows options pops on whether i want to open up the files of my mpc...i just want to know to make mpc be able to work with my pc so far as tranfering data such as sounds to my mpc from pc and tranfering sounds to a recording programs on my pc...

So why do you think there's something wrong? Isn't opening the folders on the MPC what you want to do?
