Hi
I own a 2500 at the moment but im thinking that the 500 is an ideal way to get your thoughts down when your on the move so im hopegully going to cop a 500 aswell within the next couple of weeks, i know it takes the EXM 128 for ram wich is the one i brought for the 2500 but i really dont feel like spending that much money on ram again (£90!!!)

Is there anyone here who has got a 500 and running it off cheaper ram who hasn't experianced a problem with it what so ever? If it means coppin a exm 128 in order to make it run without crashing and things i'll probably do so!

Help's appreciated...

I bought some 256MB Kingston RAM, works perfectly so far. The model number is KVR133X64SC3/256. Got it for like €30.

Cool how long have you been running with it?

Not too long I'm afraid, just a couple of days. If there were some compatibility issues though I would think I should have run in to them by now, but all has been great :).

Just search around, your bound to find some really cheap ram. I got some kingston ram(128MB) on ebay for $30USD(works great BTW). Here is a link to a disscussion on the forums. This will tell you the type of ram you need for the 500, as the 500,1000,and 2500 all use the same ram type. :D
