MPC500 with garageband

If anyone uses garageband,..how do i set my mpc500 to record into garage band,using a fast track pro interface

create a new basic track, press rec in GB, then play on the mp...i used to have the fast track pro its not that good...IMO....i recommend upgrading ur interface
