time

i cannot seem to extend my sample time with the wheel? how do i extend the sample time on a mpc 1000?

Time? What sample time do you mean?

its seems like i cannot raise my sample time beyond 4 seconds...i think it may have to do with my RAM...because i might need to upgrade

i did try to figure it out on my own...but everytime i turn the data wheel the time doesnt go up...

Even with the stock RAM you have more than 4 seconds sampling time.

Please tell us EXACTLY where you are fiddling around with your data wheel! Then maybe someone can help you with your question.

Turn off the autoload function, so that the stock sounds don't take away from your free memory.

so if i dont have the flash card in when i start the mpc...i will have more sample time?

yeah that's correct. but the mpc will still load up all the files from it's internal memory, so disabling the autolad function will prevent that as well.

dosnt that mean you've run out of sample time to use? maybe your at your limit? if it dosnt let you raise the time then it sounds like you ran out of space
