Strange Problem with T.C., please help

Hello, when i record various sounds to a track i usually can use t.c. on single souds, like a hihat for example.

Every now and then this doesn´t work and there are all pads selected.

do i understand something wrong or is this a bug?

f1 >> set your TC > press fix >> hit the pad you want tc-ed

yepp, but that´s what not always is working. Sometimes i can´t hit a pad, all pads are selected and prssing a pad doesn´t affect the screen
