How to sync Logic to MPC via MTC and MMC

yes, one can see that logic varies the tempo all tetime to keep on poitn with the MPC´s timecode. But it makes sense to tell the MPC the tempo of a premade song in logic, otherwise the track would have a differnetn tempo and prolly sound rather bad

What really sucks ist that logic takes no loop as a slave. the whole arrangemente goes from beginning to end. i don´t like tht

MTC has nothing to do with tempo what so ever though, it just has to do with the time (seconds) that are displayed at the top of the mpc... im not clueing in, is it actually usung the mpcs sequencer if all its doing is syncing the timecode? what if i go to mix down the project in nuendo.. is it using the mpc for time or the program?


ALSO, I get quite a delay when synced to MTC, i adjusted some settings like dropout frames and some crap and ive got it down to about a 1/2 second delay, but still that messes me up, anyway to get rid of the delay completely?

im getting a midi delay as well, nuendo/cubase compensate for that delay when midi is sequenced in the prgram but when its sequenced in the mpc how can i get it on time with everything?

Its funny you guys are talking about this because ive been running into major headaches lately with this issue and maybe u guys can help me out.? I can never get my midi tracks to come out exactly the same as i have it sequenced in my mpc. ive switched my clock sources to internal,audio,midi sync and smpte/midi mtc, still comes out crappy. the close est ive came to a almost on tempo track was just recoring it in real time. but still midi tends to wonder off into a diffrent tempo about 30 seconds into the song. and yes ive raised and lower buffer rates and everything else. im thinking 1. maybe i need more ram to handle multiple soft-synth instances 2.i need a new mpc or 3. i need to scrap sonar and use a diffrent program, one that i can just record all of my sequenced midi tracks in real time and have it playback perfectly.
