need some help

ok so im planning on getting an mpc500 sometime hopefully soon, what would i need to get it from my mpc to my computer, onto a cd. i have turntables and stuff, 1200 mk5's actually. but help is greatly aprieciated. and yes ive searched

You need a sound card in your pc (to record stuff from mpc) or any kind of audio interface via firewire or usb.

whats an audio interface? like ableton? i really have to buy it? are there any free ones?

like i cant just get like a rca to 1/8 jack and use like audiacity?

if you computer has a line in on the stock soundcard then yes of course.
