Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

so my buddy brought over his zip drive and tried loading some sounds on my mp2000 classic but when loading it just got stuck on the wait window...what am i doing wrong?

shit i saw it is a Parallel Zip Drive...can it be used wih the mpc or not?

has to be scsi to connect to the mpc, man. and make sure you turn the drive ON and the device id matches the one you're loading from

thats what im saying on that post it says:

Parallel Zip Drive

This type of drive cannot be used connected directly to the MPC.

Is this true? cause if so then that sucks.

I don't think the person who wrote that thread did it to lie to you. No you cannot connect a parallel drive to your mpc. It supports scsi drives. Not sure why that's a big deal. You can find scsi zip drives all over the net.
