I suppose everyone probably works differently but I use the song to sequence feature to combine a larger amount of sequences.

Say you've got 8, 2 bar sequences which all have slight variations but you want to string them together to make a 16 bar verse out of them. I would put them all in song mode and get them in the correct order, call the song 'verse' and then convert it to a sequence. Then you would do the same with the chorus, break etc and then make another song that arranges your song into say intro, verse, chorus, verse, break, verse, chorus. So your final song doesn't get really confusing. Then if you need to make a change to say the verse, make it to one of those original 2 bar sequences or whatever you need to do, convert the verse to a sequence (replace the old one) and everything will just update.

The problem I have is that it doesn't seem to be working properly. I've just switched to JJ and come straight into version 4.51 and I'm loving some of the features like line thru and grid edit. But I made a quick song yesterday when I was just having a play around to learn everything new and used one of the audio tracks but when I converted the song to a sequence all the audio tracks disappeared.

Also I loaded up a song that I'd done a while ago and converted that to a sequence I've also just got the 128mb rab and I wanted to try recording a song directly into the ram rather than a computer. Anyway, that didn't really sound right but I couldn't put my finger on what had happened.

Hope someone can explain,
Thanks
