Copy & Paste in Grid Edit

I've just started using the JJ OS. And like everyone's been saying, it is brilliant.

Just one thing I can't work out with Grid Edit, I'm not even sure if it is possible but I've read the new manual and I can't find it.

I've got my micro korg hooked up and I record a few bars, but say for example one of the 4 bars is great so I want to clear the other three and repeat that one then make slight variations. I hold Tap Tempo and spin the data wheel it selects the entire bar and COPY comes up over F3. BUT I can't work out how to paste.

Is this possible or is that copy for something else?

...mmmm... me too , I also which to paste .
I'd expect it's possible - 'grid edit '!
..I'm guess'n it's a bug...we'll see

hold the shift button (while record is active) the paste will appear.

yeah i was tryin to figure this out today as well -
only just got V4.51 so i'm lookin forward to figuring
all this crazy new stuff out.

Just tried it, brilliant. Can't believe how much easier and accurate this version of the OS makes things.

And yeah, I've tried reading the version of the manual on the JJ website but so much of it just doesn't make sense. Can't wait for Stan's version.

you also could use the seq edit mode(slept on) wich is accessable by pressing mode + pad 13 to copy your first bar to the next three(according to your example). After that just head too grid edit to delete or add your note using the overdub button on..

Yeah I used to do it different ways before. Like making a song that repeats a two bar sequence 4 or 8 times then going and making changes but it is so much easier when you can see it all laid out visually.
