Go to radio shack, get some elctronics cleaner, it's liquid in a can. Can be spreayed directly on boards or whatever. The can nozzle has a small brush at the end so you can scrub the contacts or whatever you are cleaning. I'm guessing that's what you will be charged for when you can do it yourself but you also void your warranty doing so. Me, I've done it myself with my xbox controolers, ps2 controllers and 2kxl pads even though they were working fine, I didn't wanna have any problems. Preventive maintenance goes a long way in reducing problems. U.S. Navy taught me that one (even though I didn't understand it - or care- when I was younger).
