hi i just purchased an mpc 2500 should be here in a few days.
i had a couple questions though.
instead of tracking my sequences out of the mpc and recording them through my fire wire 410 into cubase is there anyway to save the individual tracks of the sequences as wav files on my hd or cf card and transfer them into cubase by just importing them into t he pool on cubase.
secondly i have a fantom x6 as well as a motif rack. would it be more efficient to sample my audio i play from the rck or the x6 into the mpc when making a sequence or to link all three via midi and just use midi sequences. also if i go the midi route would i be able to do what i asked in the first question.
and thirdly what do u guys feel about the akai os versus the jj os ive only ever used the akai os on my friends 2500
