Hello,

I plugged a cable with a hot output into the sample line in Right on my Mpc3000 I had the montitor on my sample screen ON. Next I heard very bad feedback through my monitors. I unplugged the cable then I got no signal on the right channel on my sample screen. My sample Record level knob does not work now either after this. Can someone please let me know what parts I need to replace to get it working again?

Thanks

Overflow

if you're sampling mono try the other side, I think you have to let it know which side you are sampling into before doing so...check that as well

Man,

Thats what I'm trying not to do. It costed me $300.00 to get a blown capasitor fixed on that old sp a while back.

when you call him, you dont necessarily have to give him the work... just talk to the dude... pick his brain if you will... from my experiences he enjoys talking about this schit, you just gotta initiate the conversation... get his opinion, THEN do some more research, and if you aint up to fixing it yourself or know someone that is, call him back and arrange something... hes usually cheaper than VST if you need work done, depends on what it is though... cant hurt to call him...

I just talked to FORAT. Im going to take it in on Monday. Im going to be in LA anyway so I can at least save on shipping. I have to take my machine to the Doctor: One pad dead, Blown right input, Record level input not working, and now the SCSI is not working.

I just got back from LA. Forat hooked it up BIG time. Thanks for the advice FOBEK. Every thing got fixed for half the price I was expecting to pay.

Thank you.
