It would have to really impress me, but by the looks and specs, I think I'll stick with my mpc.

I agree, I just scooped up a Fantom X6, it has those same pads. They feel alright but they don't respond anywhere near as nice as the MPC pads.

I feel ya elmacaco but there are peeps that will buy the sp-606! Just like there are mpc heads there roland heads too! But I dont kno if they will sell like the 1k tho! I heard the 1k been sellin like crazy!
