siiiickkk...

I been waiting for an update about the mpk I will be copping for sure...

If I was to guess it will end up hittin the states for 299 and you'll have a lil room to pick one up at maybe vst or ebay for 259/269ish or wait a month untill they end up with used ones on ebay for 2 bills...(hopefully)

If they were smart they would move these things as close to the axiom's as possible (or cheaper? lol) because it's obvious thats the unit they were trying to compete with...throw a few more goodies, couple extra bells and whistles and akai's name....thing will be a monster if they dont get greedy....I love my axiom but if this things priced nicely m-audio better start workin on plan B....haha

Good sh!t tho man, thanks for sharing the info...can't wait to pick one up...she'll look sweet next to my twenty five hunnit!! 8)

damn...typical Akai greed right there..

Why update/fix errors the 4000, 1000, or even 2500 when we can just make another mpc that kids will buy up, and only have one or 2 updates for THAT machine as well..

daaaaym if thats really the case I will not be copping.....3 maybe 3 fitty tops lol....unless they plan to incorporate some type of software with it or have something up the sleeve...I dont think the unit will do well at 6 bills...

yikes, 400/350 euros is pretty steep. Thats like double the price of the axiom! and just for some extra pads, note repeat and an arpeggiator??

Lucky for akai, they have their name and the mpc legacy to sell off this product.

It's pretty silly to release another machine when the range is already so deep.

Still, that will make 4000's the new classic won't it? Hahaha

akai will have a steady flow of JHS custys in no time. I guess thats where the market is at.

See what I mean, I would've been mad if I would've copped some other new mpc, I think they care more about new customers than old clients.

and why did you post those pics like they were from your setup
