How many of you guys track into your computer with the SPDIF cable instead of the 1/4" outputs?

if i didnt have a pre or if my audio card converter was not as good as my mpc, then i would track with spdif.

I used to do that, but now I take advantange of the 8 outs. However, I would imagine that tracking with spdif would keep the signal a little bit cleaner...

Thats what I figured. Except I wasn't sure if there were any benefits to tracking with 1/4" outs aside from taking advantage of the 8 outs like Shane mentioned.
