Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

so i started chopping a loop. i got the first two bars chopped right and wanted the zone function to cut the rest up using the same length as the first two bars. but i could never get the zone function to chop them up write. instead of 16 chops in the zone i changed it to 8, but that didn't help.
anyway do any of u guys know what the hell i am doing wrong?
thanx.

you still have to trim the chops how you want them.......the mp will try to do it for you but you may have to fine tune them

MPC will only do what you tell it and it can only perform those functions within it's limitations (meaning it can't read minds). After you get a function done as close as you want it to your vision you gotta fine tune it from there.

thanx for the input.
my problem was that i had the zones set on 8, and i was trying to make each zone too big, for the 8 zones. so when i tried for example to extend the endpoint on zone 3 a bit longer it would not let me. that is where i got confused. so to combat this i reduced the number of zones to 4 and it works just fine now. simple yet took me a minute to figure out.
