JJ OS is .......need help

i dont know about yall but this jj os is ruining my mpc experience.. theres always something wrong.. and whats crazy is i cant run back to the akai os cause thats **** too.. my new problem: how do you turn off the track mutes??? i was working on some music and all the sudden my trackes just started muting WTF!!!!!! now i cant get the mutes off.. i never put them on to begin w/!!!. i cant read the **** jj instructions cause there in **** japan language WTF!!!!!! when i purchased this unit i had no idea what i was in for its been nothing but a headache. just venting but i really need help w/ this problem.

So what bothers you about the Akai OS?

As far as the JJ OS, you basically use it at your own risk.

Stop Stress'n! relax and delete the track mutes! just keep writing beats!
The JJ OS is F$#%ing great! yeah it has its problems but so does life, enjoy what you have man! we all have the same OS so try and work with it! if not send JJ a bug report and he will mos def have it fixed! seriously!

im learning the os, also i tried the F5+window button before i did the post. my track mute were off. the the only thing to stop the mutes was to delete the tracks..

you recorded the track mutes , go to stepedit ,choose track mute events, delete them .or am i wrong?

That is correct, you are not wrong.

to the poster - i would recommend instead of using track mutes, try using QLINK and LEVEL on either individual pads or the whole visible track.

the result is like a fader, rather than an on/off switch. you get somewhat of a "fade" and no matter how small it is, IMO it always will sound better than a sudden cut. however, if you LIKE sudden cuts, you can do that too with qlink.
