hi has anyone dealt with simple solutions.my left stereo out just went out,so i was told they do the repairs,but i wanted to know if anyones had the same problem and if they used cimple solutions,would you be able to tell me how much they will charge,since they wont say.please reply?

they can't say probably because they haven't done one yet, so they don't know how long it will take. i've had them quote me for burning an EPROM chip for me, and that was a little steep imho, but if you're not prepared to do it yourself (my recommendation), or know anyone tech-savvy, then it's your only choice.

Not had any work done by them but, their parts department is a bit slack.
I had to chase them up for a part they forgot to send me. All worked out in the end though.

it took me 18 months to get a part from them and then they sent it registered post without even checking if I was around to recieve (i wasn't) - then it took another 6 weeks for them to send it again

they are indeed slack and slow

and expensive

ive had nothing but hassle from them.

my cf drive broke - they didnt know that the 1000 even had one, then they didnt know that it was on a separate circuit board. then they gave me some bullshit about recieving one shipment a year from akai - and that it was kinda like a lucky dip because noone at cimple could read japanese.

anyway

they said they would ring me back - they never did - after a few month - i rang them - they had no record of dealing with me

damn making me scared to go there,but when u have no other options what do u do,ill love my mpc too much not to get it fixed.thanks guys
