when it comes to mixers what should a body look for?

I currently own a Behringer Eurorack UB1202 that i be using...

but recently i came across a steal of deal on a MACKIE 1202-VLZ


I mean do it really matter?

should i ditch the Behringer for the mackie or what yall think?


i been on the net doing research and it obviously do seem that the mackie got the advantage on the Behringer....

but for an aspriring producer do it matter like that?

i make beats by sampling and using an mpc 1k and i got a zoom 1202 digital recorder that we use for vocals on tracks...


please feel free to offer any input and let me know whats up.. school a rookie if you please..

For me it is obvious choice not to buy behringer, cause it's sound quality is very poor in my opinion, but maybe others think differently.
Anyway, I wouldn't process sound through mixers of this brand. If you have the money, go for something else. I don't know if you are satisfied with your UB1202, but at least try something else, maybe borrow from a friend for a couple of days or sth.
I'm personally using Phonic mixer and I'm very satisfied. It's not very expensive and it works for me in every way I need.

You get what you pay for!!!! It really depends on what you wanna get out of that mixer i.e sound quality, eq, busses, pre-amps.

I was thinking about getting that eurorack. How do you like it?

aight yall I jus finished reading that mixer page on tweaheadz.. btracks81 I mean maybe thats what i'm tryin to get to... was hopin yall could school me on that?

I mean all i'm doing is sampling off a turntable that goes to my reciever then goes thru the UB1202 then to my mpc 1k... I mean basically all I'm using the mixer for is get everything connected(which i 'm not even sure if its the "correct" way)....

so as far as my concerns are or should i say my uses would i benefit by going to the mackie or not?


format: one thing i don't like bout the eurorack ub1202 is that there is off and on button so soon as i turn on my pwr strip it comes, like when i jus want to listen to records thru my reciever...and thats kind of annoyin but i mean i aint' really get your question.. i mean it does what it does.. allows me to connect my turntable to my reciever then my reciever to the mixer then that to the sampler.. and vice versa...

i mean i guess if you talkin noise my ish do sound mad garbage but i attributed that to 1. all the connections going on (again not sure if i did it right, but works for me) 2. my sh*tty a$$ turntable and the way it goes thru the reciever 1st and then to the mixer and then to the sampler...
