yeah dude, check the manual for sure.
i've just been getting into using all 6 outs at the moment.
i think the akai os has them grouped as stereo pairs (1/2 - L/R, 3/4 - L/R)
so to break that down you need to pan elements hard left and right so
you can isolate them.
in the JJ os they've made each output individual. this is really great
imo. basically i've been routing each individual part of a kit into
it's own channel on my mixer. kick to 1, snare to 2, hats/percussion to 3
and then 4 for bass and the stereo outs for all the melodic elements.
(my mixer doesn't have enough channel strips to further isolate the stereo
outs - but you could pan these hard too and have more to play with)
so then you mix at the board instead of struggling to do so in the box - the
eq's in there are tricky to use well imo.
patch a nice delay and a reverb into yr sends, blaze up and have yourself
a little dub party.
