HARD DISK QUESTION: PLEASE HELP!!

Wassup?
So I ran out of space on my two compact flash cards...I upgraded to OS 2.1 or whatever the last official akai release was. Then, I installed a hard drive which has worked great for storing all my drum sounds....Now that I have run out of room, I am saving on the hard disk, I made a beat the other day and the next day the files were impossible to find...Folders that I named were there, but when I loaded them they would come up as some other shit...Also, there was a bunch of chinese and code in there...Anyone know what this might be???

That's your problem right there. The AKAI OS has a saving bug coded into their OS which will corrupt your data (wasn't that nice of them) - Sounds like you probably got the bug.

I think its irreversible, and its also supposedly inevitable, so my advice to you is to switch to JJ OS
