I'm working on a song and I'm playing out my bass notes on my 88 MIDI keyboard now, however, the mpc is not recording any notes below B1 (or "B0" as the mpc is naming it in the MIDI>NOTE section). I usually use the 3000 and I never had this problem. Anyway, I did notice that when using the 2500 I only counted 64 recordable keys even though I'm using an 88 MIDI keyboard. I can play the full keyboard and recieve ALL 88 NOTES from the module, but why is it only recording 64 notes out of 88 notes, and how can I fix it? We have the manual open and we don't see anything about it anywhere. Thanks in advance.

...this is a known issue with the all akai os for the 2500. i think it is not solved in the 1.22 update. if so, this would be a nice reason to complain about it at akai. rumors at musikmesse were that akai won´t release another update for the 2500, so we all must push them to do it. personally i like to be able to record 88 key myself.
sent an e-mail to akai.
