I'm Lost...(MY FIRST MPC)

iight if yall read ma other post ... yall kno i had problems wit protools LE ... i fixed it , i downloaded another vesrsion ,Protools LE 7.3 i think it was , it fixed it .. but the fustration continues...... i cant get no sound out i got a midi cable going out(Midi-Out A) ma mpc 2500 to then midi input of the M BOX the mbox to a usb input and i sopose the sound is gonna come out ma monitors (theyr conected to the regular shyt in the back .. the green sound OUT..i have no sound card).... now .. i dont kno wat to do... i pressed Play/start so "all hip hop" would sound .... nothing...... NOTHING ....help ..... how do i get to play the pads?..

You need to connect cables from your MPC outputs to your amp/monitors.
Ain't no sound ever came out of a midi cable.
Connecting audio cables is the most basic of stuff, c'mon you are not even trying. This sort of question is gonna piss most people off on these boards.
Forget the Pro tools for a minute and concentrate on your MPC on it's own for a while. Get that working, then try integrate it with the PT.

MIDI does not transmit sounds

you can use the mbox to sync for recording through midi, or use the mpc as a midi controller for stuff like reason.

MIDI just says i pushed this button this hard at this time

yea the guy at the store told me i can use it to record and i dontt really need a sound card wit the mbox.... but i guess i can only use ma mpc and ma mbox to sync..i think i saw a post on dat ..i gonna have to look....it waz a ViD... o well thnx fellaz
