Here's my issue.

Since my "directory error" issues I need to change my OS to JJ.

I need to upgrade to JJ 3.06 (but I'm currently having problems opening the downloaded file on my Mac)....?it keeps opening the file using quicktime....?

I have a CF with several sequences and programs saved on it.

How do I save those sequences and programs and samples before reformating my CF. And do I HAVE to format the CF for the new OS?

Step by step instructions would be much appreciated.

Is there a number I can call to talk with someone about these issues?

Thank you thank you thank you.

Thank you thank you thank you.
hope this helps

Thanks for the help. Damn, OS 2.1 seems ancient now. The JJ is neater, quicker and more efficient.

Your help was very much appreciated.

By the way, Sparq from the youtube tutorials, or another one?
If so, great videos.

If I were you I would reformat that flash drive anyway. There is some info on the JJ page relating to the larger CF drives being affected by the same bug, and since this is a known problem with the Akai formatting routine, you are probably better off reformatting any drive formatted with 2.1. After all, it's not that hard.

Just for your own sanity...
