I had a blown scsi port, a blown right sample input, a dead pad, a back light that was off center and a broken start and stop buttons on my MPC3000. I call Forat and told him I was going to be in LA for a day (I live in the Bay Area) and he told me he could help me out. I met him at his repair shop after a 5 hour drive and he told me he could have it fixed that day saving me on shipping. 4 hours later he called me to let me know the price. It was half the price I was expecting to pay and he also did some additional work at no charge! I picked up my MPC later that evening at chilled with Bruce while he shared some MPC tips with me. I felt like a valued coustumer. Bruce at Forat is a stand up guy and I would recomned him for any music repairs.

Peace

Hell yeah Bruce is cool as **** no matter what anybody says. He def takes care of his customers. He may charge alittle bit more for a repair but I don't care cause his customer service is worth it and he replaces things for you that he notices might need to be fixed and will do it for free.

I've never dealt with him BUT I've heard that from MANY people and that's make me feel REALLY good to know that there are guys like that that value customers, customer service and people in general.

Good short story and glad it all worked out for you big dog.
If Bruce is listening, thank you for being you homie.

Yeah dude is a valuable resource to the mpc community. He helped me with all the repairs I needed to perform myself. I bought a power cable connector from him and the experience was top notch.

Yep...I sent my MPC to Forat from overseas after speaking with Bruce over the phone. He repaired my MPC, the cost of repair was reasonable, and he got my MPC back to me in a speedy and safe manner.

Bruce is definitely a swell guy in my experience with him.

I heard Forat is good peeps, but I can also personally vouch for VST. They're good peeps also. Almost sent me out free cables when I didn't get mine for my XL in a timely manner. Has anyone else seen their shop? Man, that place is tiny!
