WELCOME

When I turn on my MPC I want it to write ie. "Hello Philipp".
Please tell me, how can I do this?

I am not in front of my MPC right now but if I remember correctly it's... [MODE] + pad 10 (other) and... DAMN!!! My memory is failing me! Somebody help this guy!

Press mode + pad 10 (other)
then f3 and then f6. the secret screen will appear.

i saw a video on youtube where the mp said the guys name on the welcome screen. and i thought, how the hell did he get it to do that. but now i know. cant wait to get home and do that

While we're at it, there's a "Pad/Slider" test screen as well.

Hold SHIFT and sequentially press D, C, B, A

Is there a way to run a self diagnostic on the mpc i thought there was maybe holding down a button while powering up?

Man my mpc is going to look pro, when other people start up my mpc an they see my name daaayum...haha
