no

it's just an excuse not to make good music....

find work arounds and stop whining.
there is nothing wrong with the o.s. imo.

shut up and make some music. if you cant, get an mv8800, then i bet you( no one specifically) would find fault about that too.

plain and simple.

JUST MAKE SOME GOOD MUSIC.

no offence

Dude, your opinions would carry more weight if your own idea of "making music" didn't simply involve standing in front of your MPC4000 whilst stoned off yo face, trousers round your ankles, masturbating furiously.

Some of do a little more with our music than that.

Who the fvck do you think you are lil buddy?

Most people make alot of dope music with the 4000, so does most of the people that reports bugs. Just cause youre not bothered by any bugs doesnt mean it doesnt bother others.

Grow the fvck up with that bvllshit attitude

Or better still, go back to using OS 1.10,
which instead of the later ones which contain all our bugfixes that we reported!

so you can't read and comprehend? it was'nt presonal but somehow you made it that way... so i am talking about you...
where can i hear some of your music? post it, also post the version with the bugs, i bet , its just spilled milk, so get a papertowl and wipe it up.
better yet, sell your 4000 and get a 2500 or an mv8800, you would be much happier.
if you girlfriend didn't have to proper OS, would you keep bitchin or would you just get another girl with all of the features you like in women? you probably would try to upgrade......

actually, if you want another OS, find someone to write it, plain and simple.

i try to stay away from things like this but my creative side is sleep so i check the forum....

i suggest you grow the f-up and be content with a machine that is totaly capable of what it was intended for. it not the equipment, it " Operator error"

now, before we go back and forth with this, take a look at all of the issues with the other OS for the 1000 and 2500. then think long and hard..

Well, it appears AKAI does not want to allow the development of another OS from a different company. I was contacted once by AKAI and they said they would get back to me soon. They never did. :(

Wow are you this stupid? I mean, really?

So just because *you* dont experience problems there *cant* be anything wrong with it? Think about it for 2 minutes before replying. Read the words over and over and think, real hard.

I know this post is old , but yes 50 to 100 dollars for an updated o.s. with new features from this j.j. guy is no question, and beyond that there are thousands
of folks who don't come to this forum that would pay the same.So if your out there j.j. you got a bunch of money waiting for you on this project if you decide to take it?
