q-link data conversion between os versions

hey,

just recently updated from 3.06 to 4.51 - loving it, this shyt is awesome.

but i've found that all my automated q-link data - mainly level -
is redundant. it no longer works.

all through step edit on the tracks automated there are variances with
the q in front, and varying values, but no 'level' displayed.

and i can't just choose level all over again on all of them cos you have
to go through cutoff (possible highest value of 50) to get to level (which
extends to 100 so it messes it all up.)

is there an easy way round this?
or just automate all over again?

kind of a bummer if i have to run it all again.

I'm still running version 3.06 and would definately like to avoid this when I upgrade. I wonder if it has something to do with this latest OS or with all the 4.xx versions. ie Could you get around it if you went from 3.06 to 4.1 then to 4.5?

Does this make any sence? I don't have the greatest grasp of os upgrades and so can't back up this theory with any facts. I just thought that as I haven't heard of this before (not that I've searched) and that there must be people who have upgraded from 3.06 with Q-link data this might be a new issue.

I too would appreciate any wisdom from the cats in the know.

yeah i was thinkin the downgrade/upgrade might work.
ain't tried it though.

it fully sucks but. i've lost all my one time only wicked automated
dynamic swings.

it'd be flantastic if the dang thing remembered these little details.


anyone know anything about this? or encountered same problem?


and hippo - you oughta hit up 4.5... it's about AU$40 but well worth it
dude. there's some cool little features - improvements in grid edit are
mainly what i'm diggin.

the thing ure talkin about /q-link realtime data is lost/blank/ have wrong target or parameter after4.50 thats also true.
