I've been having trouble syncing and tracking out my beats on Protools M-Powered 7.3. I use a delta 1010 with my mixer outputs to it and monitors hooked up to the outs. My midi is out on the delta 1010 to the in on my 2500 and the out (C) is going to the in of the delta 1010. I've tried all the midi clock and sync options for the Mpc with the protools and nothing seems to work. When I go into a instrument track in protools and play a pad on my mpc I don't see the velocity bar go up. Can my delta 1010 be faulty since I don't even see the lights on the midi channels light up?

I actually kinda got it synced. I got the midi cable from the delta 1010 out to the in on the mpc 2500 and used midi clock so when I hit play in protools it does play my mpc back but i still can't figure out how to record the audio with the midi playback.

The delta 1010 was bad and didn't play any sound back. It work the first day and next it didn't work anymore. Right now I just have a usb m-audio midisport 2x2 with the out going to the mpc in and the out (C) of the mpc going in of the midisport. I got it synced in cubase le but still can't seem to record midi. When I record in cubase no midi shows up. I got the perferences set correctly to my understanding, is there still something that I'm missing maybe a mode or something I must set in the mpc 2500.
