squences with drums giving trouble

how do u put two squences together like puttin ur drums over ur sample... and everytime i record a sample i chooped up using da pads then i lay my drums the sample melody i created deminishes and cutts out ?

don't know if this is what you're talking about, but I just make my drum tracks on the same sequence. You can put multiple tracks on the same sequence. If I have a drum track in one sequence that I want to put on another sequence, I go to where it says "track" and push open window. Then, you can copy that track to another sequence. I have a 2000xl. I don't know if all mp's do this in the same way. I don't know what mp you're using bc you posted this in crate diggers. As for the second problem you mention, I can't help you.
