How come when I record a drum pattern..

It does not sound as what i played, and it is ridiculously fast. Also when i slow down the bpm it sounds weird too?

I'm a newbie if you couldn't see haha..

You have to turn timing of. Timing (Quantization) moves your notes, your performance, to the closet note of what is the setting. It is usally set to 1/16 (16th notes). It will sound robitic with timing setting. But you can add swing in the timing option (press open window on timing) add a little swing to get a better groove.

The mpc is set to 120 bpm when you turn it on.
You have to set the bpm BEFORE you record, so you can record on-beat.
You're playing off beat on 120bpm's which happens cause you play a 95bmp(for example) sequence while the mpc is set to 120.So when the mpc quantises it to set the notes to their correct place, it f--ks up you're with your playing.

Setting the timing off(Like binger0 said) is a solution but i suggest you learn more about timing/bpms and quantizing.
