Laptop with Live and/or Reason, MPC 2kxl, and MicroKorg or SH-201 (but I haven't really messed with that one it just looks cool).

yes, fl, reason and live are interchangable depending on workflow and that novation sounds nice too.

yea, shockingly enough i'd take keys over pads anyday......sure m audio has those pads on the axiom, but i am not a fan of their customer service and the only pads i would rock are either the mpd 24 or korg padkontrol.....so i'd sacrifice that for some nice semi-weighted keys with after touch........because aftertouch makes a huge difference with multi samples and synth programs. i can deal with programming drums on keys anyways.
